Collection: Nicole Allen
Nicole, born in Oakville, Ontario, developed an early appreciation for painting the Canadian landscape from her father. She has an undergraduate degree in Art History from Queen’s University and an honours diploma in Applied Museum Studies from Algonquin College. After working in the Art Rental and Sales industry in Victoria, B.C., Nicole settled in Ottawa with her husband Jeff in 1997, where they have raised two teenage children. Nicole has consistently developed her painting and figurative skills over the years through her studies at the Ottawa School of Art and local artists groups. Since 2010, Nicole has been exhibiting her work in the Ottawa region and now paints full time at her studio as a member of The Loft Artists collective. Her paintings are held in private collections in Canada, the U.S. and Europe.
