Paul Jacob Chapman or PJ was born in rural Ontario and has spent his life in wonder of the beauty and goodness he sees around him.

He can be found most days in his converted sunroom studio or out on a wild adventure with his two young daughters. Paul Jacob is a rising, self-taught artist known for bold colour and shape in his fresh modern take on contemporary Canadian painting.

Work of his can be found in collections across North American and in the Crown and Press Gallery of Hamilton. Inspiration for Paul Jacob can be found just about anywhere from the canopy of a tree to the cold granite of the Canadian north. Being a relatively new painter, he is excited to see where his art will take him.
