Collection: Amy Bowles

Amy Bowles is a British-born artist who studied ceramic design at Cardiff Art College, where she earned a BA. After graduating, she moved to Canada and began showing her work in group exhibitions. In 2004, she began working with the Toronto gallery Paul Petro Contemporary Art, where she continues to be represented and to exhibit her work, including paintings, film, and ceramic sculpture.

In 2020, Amy made Hamilton, Ontario her home. Since 2023, she has also been showing her artwork at Crown and Press Gallery in Hamilton. She continues to create and exhibit her ceramic sculptures and is an active part of the local arts community. Working from her studio on Barton Street, she enjoys the daily rhythm of making, connecting with other artists, and life in Hamilton.
