Collection: Justina Smith

Justina is a mixed media artist based in rural Alberta. Her primary focus is on painting and drawing, heavily incorporating elements of both disciplines into her work. She gravitates towards the use of a variety of media in her painting and drawings, taking advantage of the different effects certain media lend to her work. She paints and draws from life and from photos she takes when out traveling or walking her dogs around the small town where she lives. Occasionally she teaches workshops about her creative process, but mostly she spends time creating and exploring her artistic practice on her own.
