Brenda McCafferty

Brenda McCafferty is a self-taught, loosely representational abstract artist based in Hamilton, Ontario. She has been drawn to visual art since early childhood but committed to the discipline in mid-life.  

Brenda has exhibited widely across Southern Ontario. Her work has been well received in multiple juried gallery shows and online gallery exhibitions. She has been a featured artist in several galleries and participated in live-painting hosted within the gallery; also has participated in a meet the artist talk event. Brenda was happy to become a finalist for a juried competition in support of Alzheimer’s Research.

Brenda’s work has also featured at fundraising shows and annual outdoor juried-exhibitions around the Greater Toronto-Hamilton Area.

Brenda follows her intuition to create expressive and striking compositions. Her florals and landscapes range from loosely representational to decidedly abstract, but consistently rejoice in the simple delight of colour.
